offseason open chatter - May 17

Just a couple small news items, open teams preview post will be coming as soon as registration closes (extended to May 24 despite ESEA admins swearing up and down it wouldn't be, btw)

As expected, idkkkkk (bwelp/spaceghostscoffee/milan/faust/neo/redi) is dead.  I thought they would at least survive until the season started.

It looked like Blue Elephant would be making a comeback, but they seem to have given up and are dead.

4/6 of Renegades are returning under the name Cant Predict Stupid.

Somebody made a roster called Le Sparkle Gang Black (wish that retarded naming trend would end already), but it has no players on it.

I might have to eat my words a bit because pocket soldier Tino actually did join Dreamboat's team (now renamed to Shutup Mom im Bowflexing).  They are still looking for another scout and a medic.

Every Villain Is Lemons, based on last season's Polish Pizzeria, were looking like a force to be reckoned with but now they need to find replacements for pocket soldier jstn and demoman Row.  They have said if they can't find a good pocket soldier they might die.

Reg, lee and explosion sauce have started a new roster called CHEF BLACK.  Lee is also still sitting on the Chefs roster, as their leader no less, which is preventing them from registering in open even though it's a completely different team now (azilla/tLar/morsca/Coffee/indecency/Jude). UPDATE: lee's team has moved to Chefs roster and left CHEF BLACK, azilla posted an lft thread now so his team might be dead

Egg Salad Dressing, Not Around Bears, and diexxxtracrispy are supposed to be moved up to IM but haven't been yet (admins pls).  Technically so are Westbrook Effect (who picked up former Arstotzka roamer Daffodil this week) and Chefs, though with roster rebuilds they probably aren't quite suited for it.  I believe the other rank 9-16 s21 rosters are dead.  Brimstone, leader of ESD, says they didn't manage to pick up some tryouts they wanted and might not be good enough for IM right now; if they play open they'll certainly do well there.  Speaking of NAB, they have given up their search for a pocket (or Morin has given up finding a team as demo) and they are returning to their previous lineup.
